Program Associate, October 2021

Freelance Investigative Reporters and Editors (FIRE), a nonprofit that provides grants and services to unaffiliated investigative journalists, is hiring a part-time Program Associate for administrative support on data, website, communications, development, and coordination of reporter applications and services. Remote position. Flexible schedule. Seeking reliable, organized, adaptable, detail-oriented, tech-savvy assistant with minimum 1-2 years project-support experience. Microsoft Office/Dropbox/Google Drive required. Experience with Airtable/HTML/CSS (Drupal) a plus. $25-$30/hour depending on experience, average 10 hours/week. Starts October 25. Freelance Editors and Fact-checkers

FIRE occasionally commissions experienced freelance investigative editors and fact-checkers to work with freelancer reporters on their stories on a contract basis. Interested editors and fact-checkers should contact FIRE, selecting the "Editor/Fact-checker" category from the drop-down menu.
